Darcy Muenchrath is a Director of Photography and Camera Operator in Vancouver, Canada with over 10 years of experience working on non-fiction, corporate and narrative projects. His work has taken him around the world from the coastal shores, mountains and prairies of Western Canada to remote villages in Uganda, and the spectacular landscapes and wildlife in South Africa.

Darcy’s background as a graphic designer and illustrator honed his ability to capture beautiful and naturalistic compositions. He has extensive knowledge of different professional camera platforms, strong handheld camera skills, and a great sense of camera movement. He also takes pride in his deep understanding of light and how to shape it. Whether he’s using natural light or artificial lights in a business/office or studio setting, he always captures the desired mood.
